ADHD Assessments

I worked in an NHS ADHD service for over 10 years, and have undertaken over 1000 ADHD assessments in the NHS and privately. 

Undertaking a detailed mental health and developmental history when assessing for ADHD is essential. This helps ensure diagnosis is accurate, and appropriate treatments are used. 

My assessments consist of a clinical interview as well as use of relevant structured diagnostic questionnaires. 

If a diagnosis of ADHD is made, I will then discuss helpful next steps, including exploration of whether strategies, therapy and / or medication could be helpful.
