I am dually qualified at Consultant level in General Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry.
I look after all major mental health disorders including Depression (including severe and treatment-resistant conditions), Anxiety, PTSD, Stress-related problems, Bipolar Disorder, Drug and Alcohol problems, ADHD/ADD and Psychosis.
I always aim to practice holistically, and to deliver care with kindness, understanding and compassion.
I start with an expert clinical assessment, after which I provide my opinion and then
collaboratively with patients develop a suitable and comprehensive treatment plan.
Where appropriate, this may also involve partners, families and GPs.
I use up to date, evidence-based treatments, and am able to provide care in inpatient, intensive day patient and outpatient settings.
I also work closely with a number of therapists, who can deliver a range of therapies including CBT, DBT, Addictions therapy, psychodynamic therapy, couples therapy etc.
